About the Role
We are looking for a Development Engineer (m/f/d) at our Schrobenhausen location .

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing software development work in the disciplines of architecture/design, implementation, testing and integration.
• Adaptation, expansion and partial redevelopment of the system software of an introduced missile system
• Participation in the creation and maintenance of necessary technical documentation
• Contributing to the creation of demonstrators and concepts to showcase future system capabilities

Requirements:
You should definitely possess the following knowledge and skills:

• Successfully completed technical studies in the field of computer science, mathematics or comparable qualification
• Good knowledge and experience in all phases of software development
• Very good knowledge and experience in programming with Rust
• Good knowledge of other languages ​​for the development of embedded systems, e.g. C++ or Ada
• Knowledge and experience in the application of relevant software development processes (e.g. V-model, agile processes)
• Experience in using various tool environments and frameworks in software development
• Strong technical understanding combined with the ability to familiarize oneself with existing systems.
• Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions, taking into account system, software, and hardware aspects.
• For effective communication in the project environment and with our German-speaking customers, very good spoken and written German is required.
