About the Role
You will support the software development of our own products. These include a spatial database, the anomaly dashboard, and recoater monitoring. These are products that are connected to real manufacturing machines in industry (e.g., 3D printers, milling machines, robot-assisted processes, etc.). The majority of our backend is implemented in C++20 and Rust, and is being increasingly replaced by Rust.

Requirements:

• You have completed a degree in natural sciences or engineering and have very good skills in C++ and/or Rust.
• You have very good German skills.
• Experience in the following areas is a plus:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of databases
• Apache Arrow and Apache Datafusion
• Experiences with RocksDB
• High-performance computing
