About the Role
Keysight Design Engineering Software (DES) is Keysight’s electronic design automation (EDA) business that creates tools, workflows, solutions and devices to accelerate customer development cycles for complex, high frequency circuit, modules, boards and systems.
We are looking for a driven, innovative Software Engineer to join our Circuit Simulation team in DES. You’ll work across the full stack of our state-of-the-art circuit simulator — from core architecture and algorithms to user interface design — helping to deliver high-performance tools that push the boundaries of electronic design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain advanced simulation software in C++, Python, and Rust.
- Apply Agile practices such as test-driven development, up-front design, unit testing, etc.
- Optimize code for performance, scalability and reliability in large-scale simulation environment.
- Reviews and refine code to ensure maintainability and best-practice compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and presentations.
- Keep ahead of advances in simulation technologies and modern software architecture.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cumper Science or related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including desktop application development
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, Rust.
- Strong architectural and OOP skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and the ability to thrive in collaborative teams.
- Experience with QT and Pyside for UI Development
Nice-to-have Knowledge and experience:
- Proven experience with modern DevOps practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and build systems
- Curiosity about or exposure to RFIC design or EDA tools
