About the Role

You will join our Security Solutions team – a group of senior developers who together ensure that we have robust solutions to protect our business.

As a developer with us, you have a clear and important mission: to secure the transition from our existing solution to the next generation architecture. You will work to understand and manage our current proxy solution written in C, in order to drive the development of a completely new, scalable platform in Rust in parallel. The work takes place in a complex environment with high demands on performance and availability.

Your profile
We are looking for a confident and senior developer who enjoys working with critical infrastructure. You have the ability to see the big picture in complex systems and are not afraid to delve deeply into network protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design application firewalls and proxy services.
• Build modules for Apache HTTP Server and optimize network flows.
• Work with asynchronous programming in Rust (e.g. with Tokio/Hyper) to handle large traffic volumes.
• Make independent decisions about technology choices and architecture based on the business's needs and security requirements.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a developer with very good knowledge of both C and Rust.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with asynchronous programming and frameworks such as Hyper.
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL, certificate management or authentication protocols.
• Experience with container technology such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience working with security audits or penetration testing.
