Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Rust Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in systems programming, Rust development, and software architecture, with a deep understanding of performance, concurrency, and automation tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Rust programming.
- Proven experience as a Lead Developer or in a similar leadership role (3+ years).
- Strong understanding of memory management, concurrency, and systems programming concepts.
- Experience working with Rust ecosystem tools and popular crates.
- Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming in Rust using frameworks such as tokio, async-std, or similar.
- Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization techniques.
- Experience with automation platforms like SaltStack for infrastructure and configuration management (3+ years).
- Knowledge and experience with AWS, GitHub, and GitLab pipelines (5+ years).
- Excellent debugging skills for systems-level and concurrent programming issues.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Rust code.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong ability to learn new technologies quickly.
