Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance systems and applications in Rust, and help maintain existing systems.
- Write safe, concurrent code utilizing Rust's ownership model and threading capabilities
- Implement low-level system components and services
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Develop cloud-native applications and services
- Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability
- Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests
- Implement async/await patterns for concurrent programming
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical design
- Debug complex system-level issues
- Document code, APIs, and technical specifications
- Mentor team members in Rust development practices
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation while actively participating in the implementation
- Create and execute disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions across the technology stack
- Actively participate in code reviews and development activities
- Design, implement, and utilize centralized identity and access management solutions
- Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions
Requirements:
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of experience with Rust programming
- Strong understanding of systems programming concepts
- Experience with concurrent and parallel programming
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of algorithmic complexity and optimization
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, Kubernetes clouds)
- Practical experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong coding abilities in multiple languages (Python, Java, .NET)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Deep understanding and implementation experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Practical database administration and design experience
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and their implementation
