Key Responsibilities:

• Rust backend development: Further development of our existing microservices (PostgreSQL event sourcing, MQTT/OCPP WebSocket communication)
• Implementation of controls and algorithms for real-time adjustment of charging power
• Integration of new services and protocols (e.g., payment providers, third-party charging stations, IoT systems)
• DevOps & Infrastructure Automation: Support of our Terraform scripts and Ansible playbooks for Kubernetes clusters, databases and CI/CD pipelines
• Close collaboration with developers from Rust, C/C++, Python/Django and React to define API designs, data models and architecture.
• Quality assurance: Unit and integration tests, refactoring of legacy code, performance optimization

  Requirements:
• Approximately 2 years of experience with Rust, ideally in a microservice environment
• Experience with event sourcing and asynchronous communication (MQTT, WebSockets)
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Understanding of dynamic control (e.g. load management, tariffs, real-time data processing)
• Team player with clear communication skills
• Independent, responsible work ethic and enjoyment of architectural decisions
