About the Role
Join our backend team to design and deliver the AI-driven backbone of Cisco Cloud Control. You’ll work across multiple stacks and domains to build integrations and features that power the next generation of Cisco’s global platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement both functional and non-functional backend features.
Lead by example: mentor and coach junior developers.
Drive advanced product integrations and AI-native solutions across Cisco’s product portfolio.
Work across multiple back-end technologies: Go, Java, Node, Rust.
Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end delivery.

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
Strong knowledge of AWS and monitoring/observability tools (ELK, Splunk, Datadog).
Experience with modern e2e/load testing frameworks such as Pact, K6 or equivalent.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and experience working with global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with frontend technologies.
Up to date with AI tools and methodologies.
A perpetual learner with a growth mindset.
