Job Description
About the Role
- Location: Remote or from our offices in Kraków or Zielona Góra, Poland.
- Become part of Rublon’s R&D team working on the future of passwordless authentication and ZTNA.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and security experts to design and deliver secure, innovative solutions.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies including Rust, C++, TypeScript, and FIDO2.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize secure, high-performance software in Rust and C++.
- Contribute to components related to passwordless authentication in TypeScript.
- Build secure and scalable solutions for web proxies, reverse proxies, and communication layers.
- Prototype and validate new ideas by creatively combining modern technologies.
- Participate in architectural design sessions, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Deliver clean, maintainable, and secure code following industry best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience in software development with Rust, C++, and/or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with web proxy and reverse proxy concepts.
- Strong ability to create innovative solutions with modern technologies.
- A genuine interest in information security and secure software design.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Python.
- Knowledge of FIDO2 / Passkeys and passwordless authentication.
- Understanding of software application security.
- Familiarity with web servers and system administration.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD environments (e.g., Docker).
- Background in penetration testing or offensive security.
- Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
