About the Role
As a Software Engineer (Rust) – Endpoint, you will be part of the team responsible for developing the core engine that powers Varonis' endpoint security and data protection solutions. You will work on building highly performant, reliable, and scalable systems that run on endpoints and contribute to the overall security and data protection capabilities of our products. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of engineers to solve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement core components of our endpoint security and data protection solutions using Rust
• Develop high-performance, reliable, and scalable systems that run on endpoints
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate your work with the broader Varonis platform
• Contribute to architectural decision-making and the overall technical direction of the product
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of our solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in endpoint security and data protection technologies

Requirements:

• Proficient in Rust programming language, with a strong understanding of its core concepts, including ownership, borrowing, and concurrency
• Experience in building and deploying production-ready systems, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Familiarity with low-level system programming, including interaction with operating systems, device drivers, and network protocols
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration/deployment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
