Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain our transactional core (payment processor and external integrations) using Rust. 
• Implement scalable, high-performance solutions for processing financial transactions. 
• Collaborate closely with the product team, leaders, and other developers to define and build new features. 
• Write maintainable, scalable, and documented code.
• Optimize system performance while ensuring transaction security. 
• Perform unit and integration tests in conjunction with the QA team to ensure code quality. 
• Participate in code reviews and promote best development practices. 
• Resolve problems and errors in the system quickly and efficiently. 
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, advancements in Rust, and related technologies.

Requirements: 

• Software Engineer with solid experience in Rust. 
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design. 
• Experience in the development of distributed and high-performance systems. 
• Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL database management. 
• Experience with version control tools such as Git. 
• Technical English. 
• We are looking for organized, proactive people with a focus on detail and documentation, with good skills to work on diverse projects, ensuring the achievement of objectives.

The following will be taken into account: 

• Previous experience in fintech or in the development of financial transaction processing systems. 
• Knowledge of other backend technologies such as Python, Go or C++. 
• Knowledge of Linux operating system. 
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies. 
• Knowledge of AWS services such as: EC2, EKS, Parameters Store, SQS, CodeBuild, etc.
