About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Rust Developer with strong systems programming skills and hands-on experience in backend development. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond entry-level and is ready to take ownership of modules, work independently on tasks, and collaborate closely with senior engineers/Client and product managers.
You will play a crucial role in building performance-critical backend systems, APIs, and microservices for international projects. This is an opportunity to sharpen your Rust expertise, gain exposure to large-scale distributed systems, and work with clients across multiple domains.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on Rust programming.
- Strong knowledge of systems programming fundamentals (memory safety, concurrency, performance optimization).
- Experience with asynchronous programming (Tokio, async/await).
- Familiarity with backend service development (REST/gRPC APIs).
- Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, debugging ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player in a distributed environment.
Candidates with the following will have an advantage:
- Experience with PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or distributed databases.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to WebAssembly, blockchain development, or distributed systems.
- Prior contributions to open-source Rust projects.
- Experience working in agile development teams.
