Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for Senior / Mid level Financial technology engineers to help scale out our core market data & trading infrastructure.
Some projects include Adding new High-performance order gateways & market data connectors in C++ or Rust, and improving and re-writing existing core systems and protocols. We have a large set of applications written in C, Rust, and Python, and are looking to optimize our infrastructure for increasing market volumes and lower latencies.
This is a hybrid position, you can work from home several days per week, but will be expected to be able to meet with our team in London to collaborate on projects.
Requirements:
- C++ / Rust
- Python
- Financial Markets trading experience
- Working on large-complicated systems with many components
- High performance message-passing and IPC protocols
- Linux-based environments
Nice to have:
- HFT experience
- Experience designing trading algorithms
- Familiarity with DevOps / AWS
- Django experience
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical people alike
- Collaborative approach to problem solving
- Self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and experimentation
- Eye for detail and ability to turn product/design dreams into realities
- Strong software product lifecycle management experience
- Communicating proactively and helping teammates where needed
- Productive and communicative in a remote work environment
- The independence to manage, execute, and take initiative without supervision
- Comfortable working in a growth-stage startup environment that balances responsiveness to customer needs as well as iterating on product and delivery in real-time
