Key Responsibilities:

1. Build pipelines to process critical sales, finance, and inventory data from external systems for use by LLMs and internal forecasting algorithms
2. Create intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex data into actionable insights
3. Build automation workflows for time-consuming operations
4. Talk to customers to get feedback and iterate on features
5. Find ways to use AI to dramatically increase development velocity

Your Technical Experience
Backend

• Strong Rust programming skills
• Experience with web services and RESTful APIs
• Understanding of SQL and database design (PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of async programming patterns
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes
• Experience with client side wasm

Frontend

• Proficiency in TypeScript and React
• Experience with React Query and state management libraries (Jotai)
• UI component design and implementation
• Knowledge of modern frontend build tools (Vite)
• Understanding of data visualization techniques
• Experience with Tailwind CSS

Other
It is preferred, but not required that this person be based in or willing to relocate to NYC for at least the first six months and work in-person at least three days a week during that time period. We will cover relocation expenses if necessary.
