About the Role
You will design and maintain our SDN platform, working on Rust/Go dataplane, eBPF packet processing, and orchestration software. The role involves building APIs for networking functions, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting, and collaborating across teams. Ideal candidates have experience in cloud infrastructure, systems programming, networking, and low-level languages like Rust or Go.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain our SDN capabilities, exposing firewalling, routing, and peering capabilities to customers through an API.
• Work on Rust/eBPF dataplane.
• Work on the Go agent that configures the dataplane.
• Work on the orchestration software to make the system configurable by the customer.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in code and changes reviews.
• Take part in the on-call rotation after a training period.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues.

Requirements:

• Have experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Have a background in systems programming and networking.
• Have familiarity with the packet handling primitives of eBPF, or experience handling production traffic through eBPF programs.
• Have meaningful experience with Golang, Rust, or other low-level programming languages.
