About the Role
Our client is seeking a Rust Developer with experience working in the financial industry to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is expected to last for an initial 12-month period with a high chance of extension. This position is fully remote, but the ideal candidate will speak Polish and English fluently.

Project details:

• Position: Rust Developer
• Contract Length: 12 Months
• Start date: ASAP
• Location: Remote
• Languages: English and Polish Speaking

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on commercial Rust programming.
• Strong expertise with Rust ecosystem tools such as Tokio and SQLx.
• Solid experience with Linux environments beyond basic usage.
• Experience building and maintaining 24/7 backend systems, with understanding of concurrency challenges such as CAS and ABA problems.
• Proven track record of prioritising security and reliability in previous projects.
• Experience in regulated environments and/or the financial industry is highly advantageous.
