Job Description
About ERNI
We are ERNI – an international consulting and engineering company with Swiss roots. Since 1994, we have been helping companies implement innovations faster and smarter. With over 800 employees at 18 locations in 8 countries, we are shaping the digital future. Perhaps with you soon?
Key Responsibilities:
- You develop and maintain applications based on Rust – from the initial idea to stable operation.
- Together with the team, you will contribute to architectural and design decisions, bringing your experience and new ideas to the table.
- You design and implement APIs and event-driven systems, ensuring a clean, scalable structure.
- The integration of interfaces to internal and external systems is also part of your responsibilities.
- You ensure, through automated testing, that our applications function reliably and sustainably.
- Furthermore, you ensure clear documentation and adherence to quality standards so that knowledge remains transparent within the team.
Requirements:
- You have several years of experience in software development, ideally with a focus on Rust.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Rust, especially in the areas of ownership, borrowing, and asynchronous programming (async/await).
- You are familiar with modern software architectures – especially event-driven approaches – and you enjoy implementing them in practice.
- You have experience working with Docker and Kubernetes and are comfortable working in Linux environments.
- You communicate confidently in English; German skills are also required.
- You are a team player, work proactively and have high standards for the quality of your work.
Here's what you can expect from us:
- A true flagship project for the client: Innovative MedTech sector, greenfield approach, direct impact.
- Team spirit: Cool events and strong cohesion among the ERNIans.
- Individual development: Tailor-made training programs at
- ERNI.
- Work-life balance: Remote work (up to 5 weeks/year within the EU) and flexible working hours.
- Generous pension benefits: We cover two thirds of your
- pension fund contributions.
