About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to join a distributed, high-calibre engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling performant backend systems, with exposure to peer-to-peer architectures and blockchain-related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance systems using Rust
• Contribute to system architecture, technical decision-making, and best practices
• Work on backend and distributed systems, with exposure to peer-to-peer and blockchain-related components
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and delivery goal.
• Ensure code quality, reliability, security, and scalability across systems

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Rust
• Strong background in backend or systems engineering
• Experience with peer-to-peer systems (highly desirable)
• Blockchain experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals such as consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and smart contracts
