Key Responsibilities:

• You play a key role in shaping the technical vision and driving the strategic development of our backend systems.
• The design and implementation of a highly scalable and secure application using Rust and Python are your responsibility.
• As the technical lead of the backend team, you take the lead, promote best practices through code reviews, and act as a coach for the developers.
• You demonstrate your hands-on mentality in the development of sophisticated core components in Rust, as well as in the design of APIs and supporting services in Python.
• You define and establish sustainable standards for code quality, security according to the "Secure by Design" principle, testing, and our CI/CD processes.

Requirements:

• You can demonstrate a completed degree or comparable training in the IT field.
• You have approximately 6 years of professional experience in the design and development of complex backend systems as well as professional leadership experience.
• You have very good knowledge of Rust and Python, as well as experience in building high-performance, concurrent applications, and are proficient in common web/REST API frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django).
• You bring a deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous communication patterns.
• You consider security from the ground up (Secure by Design) and have practical experience in developing highly secure applications (e.g., according to OWASP principles).
• In addition to good teamwork and communication skills, as well as decisiveness and implementation strength, you are characterized by a sense of responsibility and a proactive, analytical, goal- and solution-oriented working style.
• You are fluent in German, both spoken and written, and can communicate confidently in English.
