Southeastern Cyber, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in Lincolnton, GA. Our driving force is our passion to develop and leverage existing and emerging technologies to improve and protect critical national assets and industries. We have several current development and training efforts in the realms of cyber operations, cyber capabilities and tool development, operational AI, and agricultural automation. Some of these are funded or directly in support of the United States Government while some efforts are entirely self-funded and operated.

Southeastern Cyber is expanding its operations in multiple areas:

• Cyber Training
• Intelligent, automated network and system assessments
• Information Warfare Assessment and Training
• MultiDomain Operations Training
• Integrated Direct Action Assessment
• Testing and Evaluation of Cyber and Electromagnetic vulnerabilties in automobiles, boats, planes, and medical devices
• Liquid immersion cooling
• High Efficiency datacenters and computing
• Electromagnetic Mitigations for government, commercial, and consumers
• Agricultural practices, automation, and technology integration
• Sustainable robotics and low-power artificial intelligence/machine learning

Applicant will be required to develop software and tests in Rust and Python. This position leverages Git, CI/CD, and various other development and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as a part of a team of developers to meet the goals of each sprint
• Code networked and web applications in Rust
• Abide by the Rust Style guide, PEP8, or any other relevant or assigned code style rules.
• Ensure code tests are thorough, relevant, and accurate
• Write documentation for all audiences, especially other developers
• Define and implement database schemas
• Develop small programs using Python

Software Developers will perform their duties in a remote setting.

Requirements:

• Must pass a series of verbal and practical technical interviews covering Rust, Python, and other programming topics 
• Must possess the skills and knowledge of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline 
• 3 years of experience programming in Rust 
• Either: A) portfolio of current or previous work that can be reviewed during the interview process 
• Or B) the ability to rapidly develop a networked program in Rust to showcase practical capabilities in addition to the practical technical interview

Work Environment:
Work schedule will be determined by employer and communicated to applicant prior to hiring. Applicant will work remotely. An office space is not supplied.
