Missions
Where can we provide solutions for maritime rescue, sovereignty of the energy mix from wind to nuclear, including incinerators and oil platforms, the fight against piracy and terrorism, and border protection?

At HGH in the Wide Area Surveillance (WAS) R&D team of course! Come discover the exciting operational challenges of our long-range infrared surveillance solutions and contribute to their performance day and night, even in the harshest environments.

The SPYNEL system consists of a panoramic infrared surveillance camera coupled with HGH CYCLOPE software, it allows to detect, track and classify targets over 360° for defense and security applications. The SPYNEL camera includes several electronic cards for real-time processing of infrared images.

After a training phase on the current functionalities of Spynel as well as the existing code, you will propose an architecture under Rust for the programming of an embedded firmware and, starting from an existing code, you will develop a new firmware for part of the functionalities of the SPYNEL system under the Rust environment (real-time video stream processing, control command of the embedded actuators, etc.).

You will have the opportunity to test this firmware on real equipment and participate in its qualification.

Requirements:

• You are in training at BAC+4 or BAC+5 level in an engineering school in electronics or equivalent.
• You have solid knowledge in embedded electronic programming , Rust language (possibility of learning during the internship)
• Expected qualities: teamwork, capacity for initiative and creativity, autonomy.
