Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Backend Engineer will join the platform team responsible for scalable, secure, and efficient products.

• designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems
• supporting shared services, writing high-quality and well-tested code, reviewing peer code, providing technical leadership, driving strategic technical initiatives, and improving developer productivity and system reliability through automation and best practices.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure, proficiency in TypeScript, Go, or Rust
• excellent coding skills
• deep understanding of AWS cloud architecture, algorithms, debugging, and experience building large-scale production systems on the cloud.
• Candidates should be able to build systems from the ground up and have a passion for scalable, reliable systems.

Nice to have:

• experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Pulumi), distributed systems, authentication, developer tooling, a degree in computer science, blockchain or DeFi background, and a love for unicorns.
