About the Role
This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and evolve backend systems in Rust, focusing on efficiency, security and performance
Design and implement well-structured, autonomous modules
Actively participate in defining the architecture of scalable and distributed solutions
Collaborate in code reviews, promoting technical quality and best practices
Integrate external services and distributed systems via APIs

Requirements:
Required Knowledge

Rust
- Clear domain of ownership, lifetimes and borrowing
- Safe competition with , , Mutex RwLock Channels
- Advanced error handling ( Result, , custom errors) Box<dyn Error>
- Hands-on experience with essential crates ( serde, , ) log thiserror
Software Development
- Creating reusable libraries or components in production
- Writing comprehensive tests ( cargo test, , property tests) mockall
- Integration with C/C++ via FFI and use of profiling tools for optimization
- Familiarity with design patterns applied in Rust
General Fundamentals
- Git (workflows with branches, pull requests, review and merge strategies)
- Good practices for versioning and technical documentation

Differential Knowledge

Rust Ecosystem
- Web frameworks ( Actix-web, or ) Axum Rocket
- Databases ( Diesel, , ) SQLx Tokio Postgres
- Serialization with Protocol Buffers, MessagePack or binary formats
Infrastructure & DevOps
- Docker and containerization of Rust applications
- Continuous integration and deployment (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Notions of orchestration with Kubernetes
Advanced
- Asynchronous programming with async/await
- Cross-platform compilation (Linux, WASM)
- Security best practices and mitigation of common vulnerabilities
