About the Role
We are looking for a Rust developer to help us deliver a Clean-room(meaning you are not suppose to talk to other teams doing similar project, keep implementation unique) implementation of a recently released whitepaper of a new protocol. You will join a small team working on an implementation of a cutting edge protocol.

Requirements:

• Knows how to use git
• Able to work in a remote/distributed team and take ownership of features
• This is a whiteroom implementation, so no copy pasting other people's code.
• Has worked with Rust for 3 plus years
• Knowledge of TCP, UDP, IPv4, scaling databases and merkle tree's
• Knowledge of RISC-V and distributed systems
• Cryptography: ECDSA, Bandersnatch, RingVRF, and BLS signatures
• Networking & P2P Layers: Implement the data distribution, erasure coding, and peer-to-peer gossip protocols required for the guaranteeing, assuring, and auditing processes.
• Has worked with QUIC

Plus points:

• Previous Worked with erasure coding (e.g., Reed-Solomon), RISC-V and Merkle proofs
• You are a problem solver not a problem causer
• Ability to work indepently and report back to base
• Interested in scaling and consensus systems(Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos etc)
• Loves opensource

Note:
This is milestone basis so you will be heavily rewarded once the first milestone is handed in. Pay per delivery, you will work with a small team, unlike a regular 9-5 we do not pay monthly salaries.

The project is structed into 5 stages: Estimated time per milestone: 2-5months Reward per milestone: 43 000 USD

After the project is complete there is a chance to continue to work on the project on a monthly basis.

Reward structure:
You will be paid on in crypto currency, invoice'able as a b2b contract, with USDT/USDC on either Ethereum or Polkadot. If you prefeer to be paid in any other currency, we are happy to facilitate that.

If the developer is able to hand in early we offer a 10% extra reward, vested over 2 years time.
