Plexus is partnering with an innovative Web3 trading infrastructure company to hire a Lead Rust Engineer to design and build the next-generation B2B services layer powering decentralized trading and financial data products.

Our client develops high-performance trading infrastructure that bridges on-chain execution and real-time data analytics. Their platform already powers Solana-based order types, market, limit, DCA, and copy trading, and provides low-latency, queryable financial data streams to end users.

About the Role
As **Lead Rust Engineer/CTO **, you’ll spearhead the design and implementation of new **B2B APIs, **including Order, Data, and Wallet services, built on existing core infrastructure. You’ll drive architecture decisions, ensure scalability and reliability, and collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams to deliver a seamless developer platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build B2B Order, Data, and Wallet APIs using Rust
• Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation across services
• Ensure interoperability, performance, and security across the stack
• Partner with product and backend teams to shape B2B integrations and roadmap
• Collaborate with frontend teams to develop a developer dashboard for API key management and service access

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ year using Rust as your primary language
• Proven record of leading projects from architecture to delivery
• Strong understanding of the Solana blockchain and DeFi ecosystems
• Passion for building scalable, production-grade systems with clean APIs

Nice to Haves

• Experience designing SDKs or developer platforms
• Familiarity with high-throughput trading or financial data systems
• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to move fast in a startup environment
