About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients who is seeking an expert Rust Software Engineer with an active DoD Secret clearance for a 100% onsite role. You will lead Rust adoption, guide migration of legacy code, establish best practices for secure embedded development, and provide technical direction for mission-critical C5 and Cyber systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the adoption and implementation of Rust across embedded development teams.
• Guide the migration and integration of legacy software into Rust-based systems.
• Define and enforce best practices for secure, memory-safe Rust development.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership for mission-critical projects.
• Develop documentation, coding guidelines, and implementation standards for Rust usage.
• Translate complex technical and system requirements into reliable, maintainable software solutions.
• Support C5 and Cyber Solution Centers with high-assurance, next-generation system development.

Requirements:

• An expert Rust Software Engineer with deep, hands-on experience.
• Holder of an active DoD Secret clearance and able to work 100% onsite.
• A U.S. citizen with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Graduate degree preferred).
• Equipped with 12+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experienced with 5+ years of advanced Rust development and strong understanding of the language.
• Skilled in C/C++ development and object-oriented design
