Key Responsibilities:

• developing and maintaining a highly available near-real-time IIoT data-gathering system
• ensuring software and hardware comply with the latest security requirements and operational standards
• enhancing IIoT edge and cloud system capabilities through innovation and maximizing service uptime
• designing, implementing, and optimizing new and existing connectors for various industrial systems and equipment
• optimizing software delivery strategies within a global DevOps environment
• maintaining high solution quality; improving test coverage and testing practices
• monitoring and expanding IIoT platform traceability across performance, security, and functional metrics
• working closely with stakeholders and Product Owners to analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives
• collaborating with the Process Control Domain product team to align and apply IT standards to digital initiatives
• working together with external suppliers to design and implement new technologies and custom solutions
• providing technical expertise to teams supporting connectivity and infrastructure for connected breweries and digital initiatives
• responding to critical incidents and emergencies to minimize downtime and restore services rapidly
• participating in the evaluation and introduction of new technologies and working methods
• identifying bottlenecks and root causes affecting products; defining and implementing effective solutions
• partnering with Product Owners to introduce improvements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery to minimize rework and support a zero-defect culture
• operating as part of a self-organizing agile team, with shared planning and execution responsibilities and no traditional management layers
• translating business requirements and user stories into feasible solutions and configurations, assessing complexity and implementation strategy.

 
Requirements:

• proficiency and 4+ years of experience in Rust programming
• 10+ overall experience in software development roles 
• practical experience with AWS Cloud services (especially but not exclusively ECS, ECR, IoT Gateway)
• proven experience in DevOps projects, preferably in a global or distributed environment 
• experience with Terraform Cloud, understanding of Infrastructure as Code systems
• background in IIoT and edge computing projects
• relational database management
• experience with containerization (Docker, ECS); familiarity with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or EKS is an advantage
• solid understanding of network architecture 
• strong technical troubleshooting skills in software, and preferably in IT hardware and networking
• creative problem-solving approach
• English C1.

 
You are a perfect match if you also have:

• understanding of the Operational Technology (OT) domain and industrial automation systems 
• experience in Golang and/or C/C++
• robotics, automation, process control, or electronics background
• experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
