About the Role

They are seeking a Senior Rust Developer to join their highly skilled engineering team in London. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance peripheral applications and user interfaces using the latest Rust and .NET technologies, supporting 24/7 trading operations.
• Collaborate in an international, agile team of like-minded professionals.
• Work closely with senior engineers to explore emerging technologies and best practices, designing and integrating improvements to expand system capabilities.
• Take ownership of production support and ensure system reliability.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, shaping the future of the team.

Requirements:

• 6–8 years of software development experience, with strong exposure to Linux environments.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in writing clean, efficient Rust code.
• A genuine passion for financial markets and blockchain technologies.
• Experience building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a drive to deliver elegant solutions.
• Bonus: knowledge of multithreading, web protocols (WebSocket, RESTful), or high-throughput/low-latency systems.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
