Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Help design and implement a secure key management system used by all validators in the Sova Network
- Apply your Ethereum client experience to our validator network architecture
- Collaborate with cryptography specialists on distributed transaction signing
- Contribute to development of secure upgrade paths for the signer service
- Leverage your reth knowledge to improve our network's overall architecture
Requirements:
- Experience with Ethereum execution clients, especially reth
- Proficient in systems programming languages (Rust preferred)
- Understanding of blockchain validator networks
- Experience with distributed systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of applied cryptography
- Familiarity with threshold signature schemes
- Experience with Shamir's Secret Sharing Protocol
- Knowledge of Bitcoin transaction models
- Background in distributed systems security
- Experience developing secure onchain protocols
More Design and Implementation Details
You'll be part of the team building a threshold signature system run by staked validators on our network. Your experience with reth will be invaluable in designing secure validator node architecture, even if you're not an expert in the cryptographic components like FROST or Distributed Key Generation (DKG) Protocol.
In this role, you'll work with our team to build a prototype using three testnet validators, beginning with Bitcoin regtest transactions. Your Ethereum client development experience - particularly with reth - provides a strong foundation for understanding validator consensus mechanisms and secure network design that we can apply to our Bitcoin signing implementation.
