Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-performance APIs and service-oriented back-end services in Rust.
• Model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and performance for scale and reliability.
• Implement Redis for caching, queues, and fast key-value operations to improve latency and throughput.
• Integrate with third-party vendors via APIs and EDI standards (X12/EDIFACT) through robust abstraction layers.
• Uphold code quality, safety, observability, and maintainability for a long-lived platform (testing, reviews, documentation).

 
Requirements:

• 3.5–5+ years of hands-on Rust experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing high-performance APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong background with PostgreSQL (schema design, complex queries, performance tuning).
• Experience with Redis for caching, queues, or fast key-value operations.
• Experience integrating with third-party vendors via APIs, EDI/X12/EDIFACT, or strong capability to ramp quickly.
• Focus on code quality, safety, and maintainability.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with observability stacks (metrics/logs/traces) and CI/CD for Rust services.
• Familiarity with async ecosystems (Tokio/async-std), message brokers, or domain-driven design.
