Key Responsibilities:
You will work on the team that is responsible for the backend services that power grok.com. We focus on writing highly scalable and reliable services that can efficiently process tens of thousands of queries per second. The entire backend stack is written in Rust.

As a Fullstack Engineer at xAI, you’ll own the delivery of polished, end-to-end features that delight users and scale our services. Working hand-in-hand with product and research teams, you’ll help turn cutting-edge AI concepts into reality, directly fueling breakthroughs that redefine what’s possible.

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable architectures.
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals and type systems.
• Experience in tuning production services for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Additionally, any of the below points will help a candidate stand out:

• Expert knowledge of Rust or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity functional programming principles.
• Experience building end-to-end applications, including frontend, backend, CI/CD pipelines, metrics, logging, and deployments.
