Job Description
About the Role
In Dresden, we have been developing and producing highly specialized sensor systems for modern wind turbines for over 20 years. These systems for rotor blade condition monitoring, combined with our IoT solutions for monitoring damage and icing situations, make wind turbines safer and more reliable. Key Responsibilities:
You will be jointly responsible for adapting and further developing our condition monitoring system. You will develop software for data acquisition and processing for industrial PCs and IIoT systems and work on the further development and modernization of our applications. You will work as part of an agile development team.
Shortly:
- Programming in C++, Rust, Python
 - Tech stack: Debian, YoctoLinux, Containers, MQTT/Nats.io
 
 
Requirements:
- IT specialist in application development, Bachelor of Computer Science or comparable qualification
 - You want to develop further professionally and technically.
 - Your working style is characterized by independence, creativity and teamwork.
 - You have practical experience in working with Linux-based systems.
 - You have good English skills
 
Advantageous knowledge:
- You have gained initial experience in test automation.
 - You have experience in analyzing and refactoring existing software.
 - Unit tests are an integral part of your development.
 - You are familiar with collaborating via issue trackers, version control, and modern collaboration tools, especially in times of home office.
 - You have contact with the following techniques:
- Continuous Integration
- Docker, Kubernetes, WSL- Functional programming
