Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a new greenfield project for a MedTech client.
- Help define technological standards and support architecture decisions with Rust.
- Collaborate with an experienced C++/C# developer team and support their transition to Rust.
- Be part of building a Rust competence center.
- Help shape the project from the ground up.
Requirements:
- University degree (ETH, FH, Uni, HF) in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience in software development, including 3 years using Rust.
- Strong expertise in C/C++ and Embedded Linux; experience with C#/.NET is a plus.
- Experience with real-time requirements in embedded systems.
- Experience with Docker and Messaging in distributed systems.
- Ability to support and upskill developers from other paradigms in Rust.
- Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps (e.g., Cargo pipelines).
- Excellent English skills are essential, German language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to the client site 2–3 days per week.
