Job Description
About the Role
An innovative software company is seeking a talented Rust Engineer to create, maintain, support, and enhance complex embedded platforms. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working on cutting-edge products and supporting next-generation multimedia systems for in-vehicle entertainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
- Write maintainable, extensible, and tested code while adhering to coding standards.
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
- Continuously integrate and deliver software components into a fully functional system.
- Facilitate end-to-end user testing with customers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Collaborate closely with product owners to shape and deliver features to customers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Rust programming language.
- Experience in end-to-end testing, coding, and debugging.
- Familiarity with embedded platform development and microservices architecture.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience in deploying Rust applications to production or providing support for Rust applications.
- Knowledge of modern software development practices, including CI/CD.

- Basic understanding of modern architectures and related competencies.

Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring three days per week onsite
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
