Job Description
About Viveris
Viveris is a consulting and engineering group that has been supporting the digital transformation of businesses and their products for over 35 years. Our engineers work in four complementary areas: Systems & Networks, Information Systems and Digital Transformation, Technical Computing, and Embedded Systems.
Our Information Systems and Digital Transformation division
We provide our clients with tailored and customized information systems that combine the integration of off-the-shelf products with the development of bespoke applications. Consulting, specification, implementation, validation, maintenance, project management, and training – our role is to support every stage of the study, development, and deployment of business applications.
Joining Viveris means taking on technical and human challenges by working on innovative projects in a collaborative environment.
Mission context:
Viveris supports its clients in the design and manufacture of advanced technological solutions, with a specialization in the field of robotics.
In this context, we are looking for an experienced Rust Developer to contribute to the development of new features and to ensure the maintenance of existing features.
As part of a multidisciplinary R&D team of engineers, you will participate in the design and development of industrial drone projects. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to the backend platform, responsible for managing drone data and creating robust APIs for our user and partner interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain APIs to communicate with user interfaces (Angular), partners, and to retrieve data collected by drones;
- Contribute to the implementation of an event-oriented microservices architecture to process collected data and generate AI-based reports;
- Manipulating data from different formats (flight logs, photos, videos, sensors such as LIDAR, DVL, etc.);
- Working in an asynchronous environment with Rust and Tokio for real-time data processing;
- Implement distributed messaging solutions (NATS, Kafka, etc.) to manage communication between microservices;
Ensure the scalability and performance of the backend platform using Docker and Kubernetes.
Requirements:
Having graduated with a higher education degree (Bac +5) in computer science or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience in software development.
- You speak English fluently, both written and spoken.
- Experience in the naval sector is a valuable asset.
- Proficiency in NodeJS and the Nest framework, with significant experience in back-end development environments;
- Solid experience in Rust, particularly in asynchronous processing with Tokio and in an event-driven architecture;
- Good command of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL);
- Experience with a distributed messaging solution (NATS, Kafka, or other);
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes tools for managing environments and deployments.
Our advantages:
- Attractive and progressive remuneration;
- Family mutual insurance with high coverage;
- Meal vouchers covered at 60%;
- 100% urban transport ticket reimbursed;
- Profit-sharing, participation and referral bonuses;
- 2 days of teleworking per week;
- Continuing education with LinkedIn Learning and our technical communities.
