Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and very reliable code for blockchain applications, ensuring high performance and robust operation.
• Build, deploy and maintain auditing and monitoring systems to monitor and track the performance and security of the systems.
• Work autonomously and take initiative in identifying and tackling complex problems, leading the development process from inception to deployment.
• Collaborate directly with the founding team to define project roadmaps and deliverables.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving software excellence and the integration of new technologies and methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members, contributing to the collective growth and success of our startup.
• Respond to and triage support issues that arise.
• Actively participate in agile development practices, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a portfolio of projects in backend application development.
• Significant experience with C++, Go or Rust, or similar languages. We build in Rust.
• Experience and passion building and/or using finance, fintech, blockchains, and crypto.
• Autonomous in setting work priorities and comfortable with a high level of responsibility.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and a mindset that supports iterative development and rapid prototyping.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Startup mentality: adaptable, creative, and comfortable with the ambiguity and pace of startup environments.
