About the Role
While there are some early initiatives, the automated conversion of C++ code to RUST is virtually nonexistent. The current results are an insecure version of RUST, difficult to read, and hardly an improvement over the original code. But could you perhaps use AI to assist, or even serve as the primary source for, the conversion of RUST to C++? During this thesis, you will investigate various AI approaches, frameworks, and models to determine which is best suited for this task. You will then create a working proof of concept and test it on an in-house C++ codebase. Performance measurements, unit tests, and code refinements are possible extensions of the assignment.
