About the Role
For the development of our innovative SINA Management Center, for managing network devices and their encryption settings, we are looking for your support in Rust development at one of the following locations:  Berlin, Bonn, Borchen, Dresden, Eschborn, Essen, Hamburg, Ilmenau, Munich or Siegen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributed to the development of the SINA Management Center - a client-server application for VPN device management based on Rust, Electron and React.
• Low-level development with Rust/Cargo, C++/Conan, Node.js/TypeScript/NPM, Playwright and Cargo CLI tests
• Structuring and implementing native security functions
• Design and development of TypeScript interfaces in Rust
• Integration of C++ libraries and operating system interfaces
• Development and publication of Conan packages
• Automation of tests
• Collaboration with product management, development, and other stakeholders in agile teams
• Support during the approval process at the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI)
• Collaboration on existing evaluation documentation according to Common Criteria (ADV/ATE documents)

Requirements:

• You have a completed degree in a technical field or comparable training and relevant professional experience as a Software Developer (m/f/d).
• You are proficient in using Rust as a programming language, as well as with Linux operating systems.
• You also bring:
  • Experience in connecting C++ libraries and Conan
  • a basic understanding of how to use Electron
  • a basic understanding of networks and cryptography/cryptographic protocols
  • a basic understanding of how to create CI/CD pipelines based on Gitlab CI/CD and Docker
  • Knowledge of the Scrum framework
  • very good German and good English skills
