About the Role
Senior Software Engineer Rust vacancy for our Rotkreuz based client in the Pharma sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, build, test, and release high-quality software for diagnostic products
• Participate in feasibility studies and develop technical concepts
• Lead work package definition, estimation, and planning, and enhance or document software unit specifications and designs
• Conduct software reviews and contribute to software architecture and quality attributes
• Analyze complex issues, provide bug fixes for post-market software releases, and propose process improvements

Requirements:

• Degree in a software-related field such as software or electrical engineering
• Strong experience with Rust, including core concepts, asynchronous programming, and commonly used Rust libraries/frameworks (eg, tokio, actix-web, rocket, serde, sqlx)
• Familiarity with Linux and Docker environments
• Experience with event-driven architecture, CAN bus, and basic scripting advantageous
• First experience working in regulated environments such as the medical device industry
• Language skills: English
