About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Rust/Go, real-time systems, and production-grade trading infrastructure. If you’ve built or operated backend systems for exchanges, brokerages, or similar high-performance environments — we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services powering our trading systems.
• Build high-performance APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and WebSocket services for real-time data streaming.
• Architect scalable, fault-tolerant systems with high availability and ultra-low latency.
• Implement robust monitoring, observability, logging, alerting, and automation for all production services.
• Collaborate closely with traders and developers to deliver mission-critical trading features.
• Ensure backend reliability, performance, and resilience in a high-throughput environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Rust or Go (Python experience is a plus).
• Strong experience with Bash scripting and automation.
• Advanced knowledge of Apache Kafka (design, optimization, troubleshooting, cluster management).
• Proficient with Redis (caching, messaging, performance tuning).
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL preferred) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience designing performant REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
• Real-time development experience using WebSockets.
• Strong understanding of Docker, containerization concepts, and basic Kubernetes knowledge.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • ELK Stack
  • Sentry
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals: TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancing, proxies, basic security.
• Background in scalable system design, high availability, failover, and resilience engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven systems, microservices, CQRS, or DDD.
• Work with big data pipelines or distributed stream processing.
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ or other message brokers.
• Experience with load testing, benchmarking, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of API gateways, service mesh, and backend security (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, auditing).
• Experience migrating or modernizing legacy systems.
