About Cyberus Technology
At Cyberus Technology, we’re developing secure, high-performance virtualization technology in Rust. We’re looking for a motivated Software Engineer to extend our Hypervisor stack, design new virtualization features, and contribute to the reliability and maintainability of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and extend the Cyberus Hypervisor in Rust, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
- Design and implement new virtualization features.
- Optimize and maintain integration with Linux/KVM and the Cloud Hypervisor upstream.
- Contribute to stability and maintainability improvements for our upcoming Long-Term Support offering.
- Debug and analyze low-level system behavior in complex cloud environments.
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills in Rust.
- Solid understanding of virtualization concepts.
- Experience with Linux systems programming (KVM, libvirt, virtio, …).
- Familiarity with Cloud Hypervisor is an advantage.
- Comfortable working with low-level tools.
- A structured and security-conscious approach to problem solving.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.
Benefits:
- An open-minded, creative, and lovely team
- Drinks and fruit for free at the Dresden office
- Modern facilities & work place, desks adjustable for height
- A flexible work schedule
- Home office (partially or permanently)
- A family-friendly work environment
- Attractive compensation and retirement plan
- Time and resources for personal development
You can apply for this position under flexible conditions – whether you’re a beginner or senior, working remotely from Germany or Spain, or joining us on-site in Dresden or Berlin. We offer a full-time, permanent role with the freedom to choose the setup that fits you best.
We look forward to receiving your application!
