At Cyberus Technology, we’re developing secure, high-performance virtualization technology in Rust. We’re looking for a motivated Software Engineer to extend our Hypervisor stack, design new virtualization features, and contribute to the reliability and maintainability of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and extend the Cyberus Hypervisor in Rust, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Design and implement new virtualization features.
• Optimize and maintain integration with Linux/KVM and the Cloud Hypervisor upstream.
• Contribute to stability and maintainability improvements for our upcoming Long-Term Support offering.
• Debug and analyze low-level system behavior in complex cloud environments.

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in Rust.
• Solid understanding of virtualization concepts.
• Experience with Linux systems programming (KVM, libvirt, virtio, …).
• Familiarity with Cloud Hypervisor is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with low-level tools.
• A structured and security-conscious approach to problem solving.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.
