Weidmüller Monitoring Systems GmbH in Dresden is looking for a Rust/C++/Phyton software developer for condition monitoring of wind turbines.
Key Responsibiities:
You will be jointly responsible for adapting and further developing our condition monitoring system. You will develop software for data acquisition and processing for industrial PCs and IIoT systems. You will work on the further development and modernization of our applications. This work will be carried out as part of an agile development team.
Requirements:
- Programming in C++, Rust, Python
- Tech stack: Debian, YoctoLinux, Containers, MQTT/Nats.io
Your profile as a Rust/C++/Phyton software developer * for condition monitoring of wind turbines
- They have several years of experience in object-oriented programming.
- They have experience in analyzing and refactoring existing software.
- Unit tests are an integral part of your development process.
- They possess a broad knowledge and understanding of the IT world: "Finding the right tool for a problem."
- They have practical experience in dealing with Linux-based systems.
- You are familiar with collaborating via issue trackers, version control and modern collaboration tools, especially in times of working from home.
- Their work style is characterized by independence, creativity, and teamwork.
- They have good English skills.
Advantageous knowledge:
- We would be delighted if you could contribute your knowledge in the disciplines of software architecture to our development process.
- Knowledge in the areas of machine learning, data analysis, or signal processing is always welcome at our company.
