Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and scaling of a Rust/Async Rust platform, from early development to enterprise-grade deployment.
• Own critical subsystems in a cloud-native, distributed system.
• Set technical standards for performance, reliability, and testing.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate on cross-functional architecture decisions.

Requirements

• Strong Rust, especially Async Rust (Tokio, etc.). Bonus: Open-source contributions.
• Experience building scalable SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record of shipping complex systems to production.
• Systems programming mindset-comfortable with concurrency, low-latency optimisations, and observability tooling.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with JVM ecosystems.
• Contributions to async runtime or systems libraries.
