Rust Jobs for Rustaceans

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, secure, and maintainable applications
• Work across multiple languages and frameworks (with a focus on Ruby on Rails, Python, and Rust)
• Contribute to both backend and frontend systems
• Drive technical decisions and provide mentorship to other developers
• Tackle challenges involving real-time data streaming and video processing

Tech Stack:

• Web: Ruby on Rails (primary), Django (or similar)
• Video/Image: Python, Rust, OpenCV, FFMPEG
• Streaming: Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS Kinesis
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, observability tools, SRE practices

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience building production-ready systems end-to-end
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures)
• Experience writing well-tested, maintainable, and scalable code
• Ability to model complex business logic in a clean and efficient way
• Bonus: Familiarity with low-level languages like C/C++ or Rust, and contributions to open-source projects
