Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Use Nix/NixOS as the base for creating an excellent embedded Linux distribution
- Package various open-source and proprietary software components using Nix
- Create NixOS modules integrating BSPs and drivers from vendors (e.g. NVIDIA, Xilinx, etc)
- Help secure our embedded Linux systems
- Help define the default NixOS configuration for our devices
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Nix, nixpkgs, NixOS, and functional programming generally
- Deep understanding of how Linux systems work, from kernel to userspace
- Ability to dive into large and complicated systems, and use Nix to improve them
- Experience with one or more of the following languages: Rust, C++, Go, Python, Haskell
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
About The Team
Our DeviceOS team develops the operating system that powers Anduril’s robots. As a member of the DeviceOS team you will build Anduril’s platform for running software on Anduril’s robotics systems. Your software will be deployed on robots operating on land, sea, and air. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software development projects including design, implementation, automated testing, field testing, and deployment support.
