Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement highly scalable distributed systems and shared services infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment using Java11, Kotlin, Rust, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Use data-driven approaches to measure the quality of our platform and be a strong enthusiast for security and observability.
Implement code to the desired specification following the standard methodologies, including tests (TDD) and documentation.
Serving as a senior team member and ensuring architecture and design is at its best.
Mentor engineering team members.
Contribute intellectual property through patent generation.
Apply your judgment to determine what to defer and what problem needs to be solved now, taking a pragmatic, business-oriented approach to evolving solutions over time.
Influence infrastructure architecture by sharing your expertise.

Requirements:

BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience as a professional Platform Engineer.
10 years of experience in Java; RUST programming experience
Proven experience in building and maintaining a SaaS product at scale.
Proven cloud experience using containers and orchestration Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud storage S3, NFS, NetApp OnTap, AWS FSX, Cohesity
Distributed Systems and programming techniques.
Monitoring and metrics infrastructure (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Splunk, SignalFx).
Public Cloud (AWS / GCP/ Azure).
Bonus: Experience with AI/ML, Natural Language
