Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the team building Anaplan’s next generation calculation engine, writing high performance code and solving challenging technical problems
• Contributing to the design and implementation of software, including server components for recalculation and management of data structures, importing and exporting data & reading and writing from and to persistent storage
• Writing documents to record design specifications and implementation details
• Writing automated tests
• Owning the delivery of your component from commit through to production, proactively contributing to improvements in this process
• Providing engineering support for our support teams as required to ensure the stability of your component in production.

About the Role
We are looking for exceptional engineers with experience in high performance multi-threaded distributed systems, who are comfortable going deep and solving challenging technical problems. The core language for this role is Rust – though if you lack experience in this language we are happy for you to learn on the job, as long as you have experience writing high performance server-side code. You are comfortable working across languages and components as required.

You believe quality is something we all take ownership of, and write high quality, testable code. You can apply agile development principles and push for modern best practices in software development and deployment. You believe in and advocate the importance of DevOps.
