Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
You will join a dynamic team responsible for designing, building, and deploying generative AI solutions across the business. This includes developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, integrating large language models (LLMs), and deploying services in a secure, scalable cloud environment.
You’ll work with one of the richest insurance datasets in the world, applying modern AI engineering practices to all stages of the development lifecycle—from ingestion and embedding to deployment and monitoring. You’ll collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver enterprise-ready GenAI solutions that are robust, compliant, and impactful to our customers and colleagues across the business.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in GenAI, RAG and Agentic architectures, including popular frameworks like LangChain and LiteLLM.
- Expertise in Python, JavaScript, or Rust, coupled with experience deploying applications through frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or React, within containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and infrastructure-as-code.
- Ability to work in regulated environments, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and privacy-preserving AI.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-specialists and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

- Starting salary between £39,200 and £72,900 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
