We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rust Backend Engineer to join our team and lead the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributed systems and a deep understanding of Rust programming best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Rust.
• Architect and implement distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and performant.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure security and data protection in backend services.

Requirements:

• 5 to 8 years of overall software development experience.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Rust.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and design patterns.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, memory management, and concurrency in Rust.
• Proficient with version control systems (e. g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a bonus.
